CORONATION
I began studies for this diptych last autumn, long before the majority of us had heard of Corona Virus. In retrospect it was weirdly prescient, since the masks were present already in those early designs. The working title was initially ‘St. Vitus’ Dance,’ but as I worked on the two panels during lockdown it became clear what the final title should be.
